School Programs Tournaments College Bound Summer Calendar of Events College Bound Class of 2009 100% Matriculation $527,463 in Scholarships College Bound Events Magic and Mentalism Show CB at the Cloisters Bloomberg Holiday Chess CB at Hour Children CB Beautify Seward Park Metropolitan Museum of Art Archive The College Bound program empowers New York City youth to continue their education beyond high school, become productive citizens, and give back to society by providing comprehensive college preparatory services and chess instruction in a safe and engaging environment.  There are four components of the College Bound program: 1.  Chess Instruction 2.  College Preparation 3.  Academic Assistance 4.  Social Development Throughout each school year and summer, various activities, services, and instruction are provided to the participating New York City high school students to address each of these components. The participating students attend high schools throughout New York City and travel to the Chess-in-the-Schools offices in midtown Manhattan after school for the program.
