Chess Night at PS 329 in Queens
On Thursday, January 11, 2018, PS 329Q hosted a “Chess Night” for parents and students of the 329Q chess team. Parents got the opportunity to learn chess and play throughout the evening against their children.
Chess in the Schools Instructor: Mitch Fitzko gave a simul against the students and the students were awarded CIS t-shirts and the classic book: Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess.
This was a great event that allowed for parents to learn and support a positive activity for their children. Chess in the Schools applauds 329Q for organizing such a great event for their students and families.
