Event Location and Logistics
- Location: Temple Emanu-El, 1 East 65th Street. Check in at Wise Hall, Games will be played in Blumenthal Hall.
- Chaperones: All students must be accompanied by a parent or teacher for the duration of the event.
- Departure: All participants must vacate the building by 3:00 PM or when your QUAD ends.
Check-In Requirements
- Time: 8:00 AM – 9:15 AM. Check-in ends promptly at 9:15 AM there are no exceptions. Check-in will happen in Wise Hall.
- Late Arrivals: Players arriving after 9:15 AM will not be permitted to play. Once Quads start, we do not allow additional players to be added.
- Process: Please bring an alphabetical list of your students, separated by section. Do not check in players who have not yet arrived on-site.
Tournament Schedule
- Quads: 3 Rounds (G/45). Rounds start at 9:45 AM, or 10:00 AM and continue as soon as possible until complete.
- Awards: Quad Winners will be preserned with their award at the completion of their QUAD.
- Clocks: Please bring a chess clock and pencils for notation if you have them.
Important Policies
- Lunch is provided by Temple Emanu-EL in Wise Hall.
- Withdrawals: All players who join must commit to the full day.
- No on-site registration.
- All families, schools, and players must go through security prior to check-in.
