This event has been canceled by MS 390X due to the forecast of this weekend's snow storm. Instead we will run an online event.
Join our special FREE CIS NYC CD #14 Online Blitz Challenge being held on LICHESS with special prizes from Chessable! This event will run from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with 90 Minute Arena Sections. G/5 with 1 second Increment
LICHESS membership required to participate. All sections are 90 minute Arenas G/5 with 1 Second Increment. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
In all sections, players can join at any time unlike a Swiss style tournament. Players can pause in between games and/or choose to only play in part of the event.
Please note that the K-12 Open and K-12 Under 1600 are only open to K-12 Students.
K-12 Open (Scholastic)- Register Now

Prizes to the top 7 will be awarded after the event. Email tournaments@chessintheschools.org with your full name, School, LICHESS username, section, place, and chessable username to receive instructions on claiming your prize. We ask all students to email us with their student school email addresses to verify they are students.
K-12 Under 1600 (Scholastic) - Register Now
Open to K-12 Scholastic players rated under 1600 on LICHESS.
Prizes to the top 7 will be awarded after the event. Parents and Friends (Open to all adults)- Register Now
